Second at the 6A Manhattan regional

Helped team get first

Not every day do you get to lead your team in victory. Junior Logan Logback experienced that this week, finishing in second place at the regional cross country meet. His place helped lead the Manhattan boys team to a first-place finish.

“It feels pretty good,” Logback said. “We worked together a lot more this week. I think it’s really building up. Now I think we’re getting ready for state.”

A faster race this week let Logback feel more confident heading into the state meet next week.

“I ran a lot slower [last week] than I did this week,” Logback said, “so it’s just a real moral booster. Just putting a time down like that, I feel a lot better going into state.”
