Most leaders will go wherever they are needed. Though senior catcher Brady Woborny is usually behind the plate, he had the opportunity to pitch against Junction City last week.

“It felt good,” Woborny said. “I don’t get to do that too much, so I’m excited when I get to, so I enjoyed it.”

Woborny was productive at the plate last week too, getting eight hits on 14 at-bats. However, one of his most important roles is dugout leader.

“Having a dugout that’s interactive with the game gets people that aren’t playing in the game into the game,” Woborny said. “I encourage it, I love doing it and I think it helps us a lot.”
