Erick Echegaray is a senior who is Manhattan High opinions editor for the school paper. He originally began with being a staff writer, moving his way up to sports editor and finally opinions editor. Erick is from Peru and has been in Manhattan for 9 years and became a part of the school paper in the middle of his sophomore year. When not working for the paper he enjoys playing guitar in his band The Spanish Girls with The Mentor colleague Gavin Larios.
