Senior Claire Shamburg is the 2021-2022 Business Manager for Manhattan High School’s publications staff for the first time in her high school career.

Shamburg is hoping to bring a new energy into the group and help everyone out the best that she can. Her goal is to raise as much money as she can for the Blue M yearbook so that it can look its best.

“I chose to do this class because I really love business,” Shamburg said. “When I heard that I could become a part of a new group I was really interested.”

Shamburg is a part of many activities at MHS. She is a right side and outside hitter for the Varsity volleyball team, along with being a member of Youth Impacting Communities, Business Professionals of America and National Honors Society.

Shamburg plans on attending LSU or Arkansas State to major in some sort of business.

When Shamburg is not at school, volleyball or at any of her clubs, you can find her hanging out with her friends, at the lake or outside tanning.
