Last Wednesday during FlexTime, all the seniors went up to the practice field and celebrated the enjoyment of being a senior.
Tribe members hosted the event with games like football, bouncy houses and tag to bring all the seniors together just like when they played field day games in elementary school.
“There were so many childhood-like games, where people were running around and playing tag,” senior Kendal Jensen said, “it definitely felt like field day all over again.”
Seniors could make connections with each other and bond with their friends. Seniors started making their own games and just making it the environment they wanted.
“It was some of the last moments we were going to spend with each other,” senior Gavin Burck said, “so it was so sweet and heartwarming that we got that chance.”
Tribe did their best to make sure there were plenty of fun activities and exciting things to do. They brought a bouncy house castle that was a challenge course that people could race through and brought snacks from different local businesses. Tribe students enjoyed watching everybody participate in the activities and had a fun time over all.
“We tried to bring everyone together and have one last fun day with everyone, senior Marlena Lewison said, “and make everyone friends,”
