Senior Levin Nickerson is a photographer for the Mentor. He has been doing photography for one and a half years.
“Otto Huff… was a big inspiration on photography for me,” said Nickerson.
“He always showed me around his camera, and then I was like, I might as well just start.”
Nickerson sees himself going to UCLA after his time at Manhattan High School.
“I’ll go to UCLA…and I will do sports media,” Nickerson said.
Outside of school and the Mentor, Nickerson has one sister currently studying at Brown University and a Great Pyrenees named Bauber.
“He’s six years old… He’s a lazy bum,” Nickerson said.
Levin Nickerson has been a key part in the Mentor’s photography team.
