Senior Shaniyah Pierre is a first-year photographer for MHS Student Media. 

Pierre joined Photo Imaging because it was one of the only classes available that sounded interesting. 

“[I’m most excited about] learning how to use a camera,” Pierre said, “as well as taking pictures for the [Blue M] yearbook.”

Pierre wants people who view her photos to feel as if they were at the event.

“I think it’s important for photos to tell a visual story,” she said.

When not in class, Pierre can be found at work, exercising, trying new things, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
