Dresses and other forms of clothing will be shown off in National Honor Society’s’ third annual fashion show this upcoming Saturday.

“It’s our big fundraiser,” sponsor Robin Smith said. “The purpose of the fundraising is for NHS members to be able to help other members of the Manhattan High School community.”

Smith helped organize the event, which will help students in various forms.

“Everything goes for NHS, students assisting students,” Smith said.

As for the show, students will be displaying dresses and other types of spring and graduation clothing. There will also be performances.

“Hopefully the choir will have a couple of numbers and we have a student group who is going to perform,” Smith said.

Multiple students will MC the show, among them junior Angie Moss.

“I’m excited for it because it’s good to be in it and it’s fun,” Moss said, “[The talent show] is sort of to advertise decent clothes wear to wear to prom. Also to advertise the MHS Prom Shop, which is a thing that NHS does that basically collects prom dresses from people and donations and, when it’s time for prom, if you can’t afford a prom dress you can go pick one up for free,” Moss said.

The show will be held at Rezac Auditorium Saturday at 7 p.m. with all profits going to NHS.
