Sophomore Sarah Scheele is a first time student in 21st Century Journalism.
“[I joined this class] because I really love to write and I want to get more involved with journalism,” Scheele said.
Scheele decided last year as a freshman that she wanted to be more involved with journalism.
“I used to like writing about horses, now I just write whatever comes to mind,” Scheele said. “Horses are my favorite animal. They are my passion, and what drove me to write the first time.”
In her free time, you’ll likely find Scheele with horses.
“I connect more emotionally with horses than with people, and I feel free when I’m riding,” Scheele said.
