Yet another win for the Manhattan High boys Junior Varsity soccer team took place on Oct. 2 at home against Hayden, 6-1 MHS.

The six goals were scored by five players. Two of the goals, goal one and four, were scored by Gabe Effiong. The second goal was scored by Stoppa Zharkov, third was scored by Amir Eshar, fifth by Grant Snowden, with an assist by Michael Ohler, and the last goal was scored by Alex Boyle.

“Over all first half, we thought we could’ve played better,” Ibrahim Ciftci said of how the team as a whole played during the game. “Second half was better.”

Michael Ohler, another player, agreed.

“The second half was the better of both halves, but both halves were played well,” Ohler said.

The team has won all seven games they have played this season.
