What got you into art?

I’ve been doing it since I was little. It was just kind of an always thing. I’m probably more influenced by my brother because he was always sketching when I was little.

What is your favorite medium and why?

Watercolor, because it always looks so soft but it can also look really harsh.

What has influenced your art style the most?

Honestly, a lot of speed art videos on YouTube. I would just watch them for hours.

Do you hope to make a career out of anything in the art field?

I do, I’m trying to go to college for photography.

What is your favorite part of doing photography?

I love doing portraits. I love being able to capture these moments, like with Raigan, I constantly do photoshoots with her and I’ve caught the most ridiculously perfect moments and it’s just great.

Is there anything you want to say about art at MHS?

Manhattan High is extremely lucky to have the art teachers that they do. I don’t know what I’d do without them.
