SADD reaches out to other clubs for Spring Fling

Winter is almost over and it’s almost time for the annual Spring Fling, hosted by Students Against Destructive Decisions. The members of SADD are planning out the carnival-like event and are reaching out to other clubs for participation.

With the majority of the booths and games hosted by the individual clubs at Manhattan High School, SADD is working to have plenty of student and club participation.

“Right now we’re trying to get things set up and have our members sign up for committees, and we’re going to start reaching out to different clubs, to see if they want to get involved,” Taylor Claussen, co-president of SADD, said.

Hoping to offer the students at MHS a place to just unwind and relax from the stress that school causes. SADD is going to introduce a new activity to set this Spring Fling apart from previous years.

“We’re [going to] have a really cool activity called, Think Fast Come, and that’s going to be a lot of fun,” Claussen said. “They’re [going to] come show up and do a little game show thing with us. So they’ll be here for about an hour, so that’ll be a lot of fun to come see.”

Spring Fling will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 27 at MHS
