What do you do for band?

For marching season I do Color Guard and then concert season I play the oboe.

What are drill-downs?

In a normal year, out of pandemic, we have band camp and we focus on marching and [brain?] skills. So what basically goes to the test and kind of challenges all of us to focus in, acquiring new ones.

What is your favorite part about being in band?

Just the overall atmosphere of everyone. You can go up and talk to anyone and it just feels like it’s a big family.

Any achievements within band?

Last year, during marching season I was awarded the Most Valuable Member award at the end of season concert.

Do you have any goals before you graduate?

Just to make the best of it.
