School nurse Robin Mall provides clothes for students for many reasons, such as spills, periods, etc. Many of the clothes are donations but Mall does provide some out of her own money.

“A lot of [the clothes] have been donations and I have purchased some things so they’re nice, like high-quality things,” Mall said.

Mall also has food for students, which are mostly saltines and peanut butter.

“Not having enough food and calories can affect bodily functions like thinking, and just the normal state of well being,” Mall said.

Mall wants to ensure students can learn as much as they can while they’re in the building.

“I keep those things in the nurse’s office so students will miss a minimal amount of school time,” Mall said.
