Manhattan Falls short to Hayden

The Manhattan High Indians fell short to the Hayden Wildcats 48-51 on Feb. 3. Both teams put up a fight all game. During the first half both teams would fight with full intensity to stay within three of each other the whole half going into the half the score was tied at 24. During the third quarter  it was still a battle and MHS would have a one point lead going to the fourth. During the fourth quarter Hayden would pull through over Manhattan in a 51-48 nailbiter.

“We should have won it and had our chances but we didnt take them,” senior Collins Elumogo said.

Manhattan’s next game is on Tuesday at Topeka High and then on Friday vs Junction city at home.
