The Manhattan High Student Council is focusing on activities to bring all the clubs together by hosting a club volleyball event today. This is the first time StuCo has hosted the event since the 2019-2020 school year. 

“The whole purpose of it is just to bring all the clubs together under one roof, to celebrate and just have fun,” StuCo vice president Allina Dougherty, junior, said. “I think it’s really nice to have an interaction with the clubs because we have so many.”

In order to participate, clubs must have five or more members willing to play and must be an actual school club. Entry is free but bringing in a canned good is recommended. The event will be held at the West Gym at 6-9 p.m.

“I think this kind of activity lends to greater projects that could happen between different clubs,” Dougherty said. “It’s very exciting.”
