This week during lunch, the Student Council will be holding sign ups for this semester’s blood drive taking place on April 5.

“The Red Cross come in and they set up all their gear with the help of StuCo members,” StuCo sponsor Leslie Campbell said. “Then they begin.”

This will be the second blood drive event of this school, with the first taking place back in November.

In order to participate, one must be 16 years old or older and have sufficient iron content in their blood. Nurses associated with the Red Cross will provide a screening of that beforehand, then the student will be determined fit or unfit to donate.
