Over the past few weeks, school administrators and the junior class Student Council have been meeting every week to discuss the details for this year’s Prom.

On Feb .20 they took the next step in the planning process and met at the Manhattan Town Center where prom will be held.

“I thought it went really well,” assistant principal and activities director Larry Meyers said. “Basically every week we’re meeting with students and the sponsor and so far everything is updated.”

The event coordinators met with mall personnel and some parents to discuss how to make this year’s dance come to life.

With three more weeks until the event, StuCo has announced the theme as “Sweet Dreams”.

Prom will be held at The Manhattan Town Center from 9 p.m to 12 a.m, and tickets will be sold a week before the event.
