Members of Key Club International attended the annual Key Club District Convention March 5-7, where students from across the district gathered to celebrate service, leadership and community impact — everything that makes Key Club what it is.
“DCON was an amazing experience,” vice president Michelle Jeje, sophomore, said. “I got to meet so many passionate and kind people from different schools who all care about service and making a difference in their communities.”
Between networking sessions and workshops, students traded strategies for success and celebrated the service projects completed over the past year.
“It was really inspiring to see how dedicated everyone is to Key Club’s values,” Jeje said.
During the convention, Jeje earned the role of Lieutenant Governor for her division, taking on a leadership role that helps guide and support local Key Club chapters.
“I’m also incredibly grateful to have been elected Lieutenant Governor, and I’m excited to help strengthen communication and collaboration between clubs in my division,” Jeje said.
