This past weekend, Key Club was scheduled to have a car wash at the Autozone for a fundraiser. The event was cancelled due to inclimate weather conditions.

“It had rained the night before and the day of was super cold,” Key Club president Rachel Chang said. “We figured it was the best option to cancel.”

With the temperature being around 50 degrees, they decided it was best to not do the car wash.

“We just didn’t want to be wet in the cold,” Chang said.

Although the car wash was cancelled, Key Club had a service project planned that night.

“We still went out and did trick-or-treat for UNICEF that night,” Chang said.

The money they raised from trick-or-treating went to the Eliminate project geared toward eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus.
