Junior Mason Wallace pulled off once again another top finish this week adding more wins to his already successful High School career. Wallace a long-time wrestler started wrestling at the age of four and has not stopped since then. As a freshman, he was already wrestling in Varsity level matches and as a sophomore he won the state title in his weight class.

“ [Wrestling] is my life, it’s basically all I do. It’s all I do in the summer and yeah it’s basically everything, If i didn’t have wrestling I honestly don’t know where I would be,” Wallace said.

He along the Indians placed second in the Norton Tournament

“I think we bounced back so good, we competed well with Garden City. We were right there with them and they’re the best team in the state so we competed really well with them. We were about 40 points off of first place.”

Wallace racked up another win and another first place finish which puts him at 25-2 for the year.

“[My expectations for the season are] to be State Champ, and then All-American. All-American.”
