“What got you into art?”

Answer: “What got me into art was the fact that I could create anything; it was magical. Plus, my mom is super artsy, and I’ve been doing art since I was little. I’ve always loved it.”

“What made you choose the visual arts like painting, drawing and stuff like that, rather than other forms of art?”

Answer: “I like to create visual art because one piece of art could  mean something for one person, and another person might get something different. I like it because it allows someone to understand and see from another person’s perspective.”

“What is your favorite thing to create when doing art?”

Answer: “I love to create new characters, and to draw different things that make me happy.”

“What is the hardest thing about doing your art?”

Answer: “ The hardest thing for me to do with my art is to have patience with it and to know when the right time to take a break. It’s hard because you want to get the piece of art done and finished, but with acrylic and watercolor, it requires a bit of patience.”

“What have you, as an artist, had to improve upon in the past to get yourself to where you are today?”

Answer: “I really enjoy trying out new art supplies and art styles. I’ve had to improve on my skill with colored pencils and paint, and practice, practice, practice to get where I am today.”

“What do you hope to improve on in the future?”

Answer: “I really hope to improve on drawing people. I would also like to improve with my watercolor skills. I also would like to try and develop my own ‘style’ when drawing.”

“How do you plan on making these improvements?”

Answer: “I plan on practicing drawing people and figuring out what I would like to stress in my style and not stress and for watercolor I’ll practice with painting it more and attempt more watercolor paintings. “

“What do you see as your greatest achievement in the arts?”

Answer: “ My greatest achievements in the arts would be that I’ve gotten better at art and still will get better and I still have room to grow and learn.”

“What makes all the effort you put into art worth it in the end?”

Answer: “It’s worth it in the end because I love to do it and if you love something it’s worth it no matter how difficult it is.”
