On Monday May 14, the Manhattan High boys golf team played for regionals in Wichita at Arthur B. Slim Park Golf Course.The boys did not disappoint and came home with a champion trophy.

Sophomore Jake Cox shot a 75 placing 2nd individually. Senior Ben Robben shot a 77 placing 4th. Junior Josh Priddle ended the day shooting 78 placing 5th.Sophomore Casey Gritton placed 8th with a score of 80. Junior Cody Begnoche shot a 83 placing 10th and Senior Raul Garibay shot a 85. Leaving the team scoring a 310 putting them in first place for regionals. The Indians play next Monday at Iron Horse Golf Club in Kansas City.  

“I think our team has a lot of sneaky scores saved up and we’re going to give the Kansas City schools a run for their money,” sophomore Jake Cox said.
