First, I would like to welcome the incoming freshman, AFS, and all other returning and new students. I would also like to welcome back all the faculty and staff here at Manhattan High. I am very excited for this school year and what we plan on doing throughout it.

In preparation for this year, I’ve tried to keep an eye on the needs of everyone throughout MHS rather than on any specific topic or any one event. What I’ve noticed is the slow loss of school pride and low appreciation for students, teachers and other staff. This being taken into account, my goals this year are to reinstill as much pride as possible during athletic games, spirit weeks and other events that benefit Manhattan High and our community. I am also planning on incorporating new awards, appreciation days and other small surprises for any outstanding individual achievements.

I am super excited to lead us through a fantastic year and hope everyone has a great first week back. As always, please feel free to approach me with any questions, concerns or ideas that you may have for making MHS an awesome place to be!
