Senioritis: One academically deadly disease

Your last year of high school consists of many things: prom, football games, graduation… senioritis. Yes, senioritis. The most common reason why many seniors or early graduates academically decline.

The symptoms caused by senioritis include procrastination, careless work, skipping school, laziness and lower grades.

Senioritis, teachers, maybe the one reason why you are failing the vast majority of your students.

In order to cure this disease, which is curable, seniors can do a plethora of activities that will help maintain stellar grades.

  1. Walk in your graduation robe and cap.
  2. Think of yourself as a college-student-in-training.
  3. Focus on earning college credit.
  4. Set specific goals for yourself.
  5. Have fun, but still be on task with academics.
  6. Practice adulting.
  7. Pursue your passion.
  8. Get involved with the school.
  9. Work really hard.
  10. Crush it before it starts.

Senioritis can begin instantly. It is your job to make sure that you end on a high note in order to look back and reminisce on your incredible days as a high school senior.
