How long have you studied theatre?

  • I have been in shows since I was five.

Do you plan on going to college for theatre?

  • I am going to K-state to double major in Theatre, and Theatre and Speech Education.

What motivates you to continue acting?

  • I guess I continue acting because it’s a step away from reality for a little while. You get to interact with people who you’ve never met and feel emotions that you may have never experienced. It’s a whole new world of feelings. Plus, it’s just fun. It’s kind of like a game of interactions and it’s addicting to play.

Do you consider acting to be your passion?

  • I would definitely consider acting my passion. I’m planning on spending the rest of my life performing and helping others do the same. I just don’t find happiness in any other career choice. I’m willing to take on the risk of becoming an actor because I love it.

What are you going to take away from performing in an abundance of plays throughout high school?

  • Ginny Pape has been apart of my life since I was little. If she has taught me anything, it’s that every part in a show is important and to always say yes to new creative ideas and experiences. Everything I learned from her is going to benefit me later in life. Mrs. Pape is the best drama teacher ever.
