As you walk up the stairs into MHS, you’re wearing a cute new outfit walking with a group of your best friends ready for two hours of dancing snacks and fun its Homecoming one of the best events of the year. The dance is coming up 8-10 p.m. this Saturday. To me, Homecoming is an event high schoolers attend to make memories. I think Homecoming is a fun event to go to. People go around asking people if they want to go with them as a date or you can go with friends.

I like Homecoming because it is a chance for you to make memories with the best people. Homecoming can be great but there can also be drama, which isn’t fun. Instead, the night is supposed to be memorable and having a good time, so don’t let dramatic people stop you from having fun. 

Homecoming also involves a lot of preparation but that be part of the fun. It’s coming up fast but you can still go shopping for a cute dress or a good-looking suit for the dance. Don’t wait, because you don’t want to get to the stores and find there isn’t much left to choose from. 

It’s up to you if you want to go with friends or a date, but either way you could plan to go out to eat and then just chill out somewhere until the dance starts. Planning someone fun to attend with is more fun because if you just show up without anyone the only thing you will be doing is eating and dancing, and you want to have someone to talk to and not be standing by yourself.  

Everyone has their own opinions about Homecoming. For me, Homecoming is fun to go to and you get to dress up without people wondering why you’re looking cute because you are going to want to look good for homecoming.                

I think you should live for today, plan for tomorrow and party tonight– that is a quote I would use on the night of Homecoming. As for me, I’m going to Homecoming with my friends. We are going to eat and go to the dance and just hang out with each other because we don’t have dates to go with.
