With a rough start to the 2022 season The Lady Indians Varsity Volleyball Team placed third at their home tournament on Oct. 8. They beat Olathe East, Hays, TMP and Topeka High, losing matches to ShawneeHeights and Bishop Miege. 

“The home tournament was a bittersweet experience because it was us seniors’ last home tournament,” senior Aubree Hoffman said. “I was proud of my team and glad that I got to spend my last home tournament with the people on my team.”

Coming up on Oct. 11, the team will have their Pink Out game against Hayden, Washburn and Lawrence. They will be having a pumpkin auction to support Special Olympics and Breast Cancer Awareness.
