Our history books are more than happy to point the spotlight towards the famous male inventors who created devices to help push our society forward.

However, it is a rare occasion to find women in that spotlight. The reason for that is that women rarely earned credit for their inventions, or were simply kept anonymous.

Thousands of life-changing inventions have been created by the hands of women, even objects that people use on an everyday basis. Seeing the common role women were given in history, it is incredibly important that people recognize their groundbreaking accomplishments, and appreciate what they offered to the world.
