Along with sweater weather and hoodie season quickly approaching, a new variety of shows make their first appearance on television with returning shows.

The ever-so-famous “American Horror Story: Cult” has already aired their first episode on Sept. 5. The spooky show follows the plot of the inside events of being in a cult. Returning actress Sarah Paulson and actor Evan Peters, with the help of supporting actors such as Colton Haynes, portray a cult full of clowns.

“The Voice” has taken over the country with its popularity. However, when it airs on Sept. 25 the coaches will be slightly different. Due to Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani having other plans, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will be joined by Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

“Empire” is returning for another season on Sept. 27. The musical drama intrigues viewers by following famous musicians and all the eventful moments that fill their lives. Taraji Henson, also known as Cookie on the show, steals the spotlight and has already won numerous awards for her big personality and portrayal of her character.

“Riverdale” blew up this past year due to its casting and mystery plot line. Attempting to solve a teenage murder within their small town, the modern spinoff of the classic 1950s Archie comics documents a group of friends and the drama that entails as they try to track down the murderer of Jason Blossom. The cast for season two will include Manhattan High alum Charles Melton, as well. Season two will premiere Oct. 11.

“Jane The Virgin” is appearing on television with its telenova qualities. Jane, who was previously artificially inseminated, has now had to deal with a great amount of traumatic experiences. After a killer season finale, the next season will set the scene for what’s yet to come for Jane and her baby Mateo, airing on Oct. 13.

“Stranger Things II” will be added to Netflix for their second season on Netflix on Oct. 27. Highly anticipated, people have already begun their countdowns to finally find out the fate of Millie Bobby Brown’s character, Eleven. After Netflix announced that “Stranger Things” would return, it was later stated that fans would have to wait over a year to revisit the kids in the science fiction-based show.
