In Manhattan, every season has its own attractions to take part in. Some seasons have more to offer than others but all in all there is never a dull moment in the Little Apple. Finding something to do is easy, anything from outdoor school events to a movie in the theater is offered. Everyone can find something they enjoy in any season in Manhattan.

Fall weather is the perfect time to take on the outdoors. This season gives the opportunity for perfect fall pictures — whether that’s laying in a humongous leaf piles or posing with sunflowers. In addition, there are multiple Halloween festivities brought to you by the town of Manhattan.

“[In the fall] I like to go to the movie theater with my friends,” Allie Conrow, sophomore, said.

Winter is full of attractions to enjoy, despite the cold weather. There are light shows to admire all around town. The biggest, the Festival of Lights happens in the Blue Earth Plaza, where the extravagant Christmas tree makes you feel like you’re in the Big Apple. Along with the lights, ice skating is also offered in downtown Manhattan in the City Park Pavilion, making for a great winter adventure. To add to the holiday fun, you can also celebrate New Years in Aggieville with the Apple drop.

Once winter has come and gone, Mother Nature runs its course of bringing in spring flowers and May showers. If fluorescent colors and flowers are your thing, then the season for you is spring. School is ending, summer is coming and spring is the beginning of it all.
