How long have you been interested in art?

“Since I was in elementary school, art was always my favorite class and in like kindergarten and up through that.”

How long has art impacted your life?

“For a long time, I always used to do drawings for Christmas every year I got like drawing stuff, colored pencils, markers and everything like that. Especially throughout the past years because I’m taking AP [art] and it’s a very big workload.”

What’s your favorite kind of art?

“I’m best at doing paper cuts, cutting out shapes and putting it together into an image.”

What can you take away from your art? What does it mean to you?

“I think it’s fun because all my other classes are just studying and reading textbooks while taking notes. But this is a good way to take a break and sit down to enjoy something.”
