Senior Alejandra Parma, is the Feature Editor for the Manhattan High School Mentor.
“[for what looks like] the billionth time in a row,” Parma said.
Parma has been on staff for 4 years, joining the class her freshmen year of high school.
“I’ve always had an interest in journalism, and when I first did the big blue weekly episode my freshman [year, I immediately] fell in love with it and decided that I wanted to continue my journey with it. Since then, I have just progressed with my continuation of this class, and I’m very excited,” Parma said. Parma is also an active member in Hispanic Student Union, Civic Engagement Club, Key Club, and Quill and Scroll. Besides the many clubs she is in, she also likes Chamber Choir, managing Boys and Girls Swim, baking, babysitting and lifeguarding in her free time.
“Once I’m done with high school, I plan to go to K-State or Coastal Carolina and major in elementary education and hopefully minor in journalism,” Parma said.
