How long have you been playing violin?

I have been playing the violin for about seven years.

What made you interested in playing and what kept you playing?

When I was in first grade, someone came to visit my class, a parent of a friend or something like that, to show us the violin and when I heard her play, I thought, “Oh my goodness. I want to play the violin.” What kept me playing was wanting to keep getting better, keep playing more challenging music  and to keep making music.

Do you believe that you will play after high school?

I would love to keep playing after high school. I’m just not sure what that will look like yet. I will either get involved in orchestra or just give lessons. All I know for sure right now is that I want to continue making music.
