How did you first get into bowling?

I started bowling competitively six years ago. When I was younger, I used to go with my dad and grandpa to watch their bowling tournaments. I thought I would have fun doing what they were doing so I so that really sparked my interest. Everyone on my dad’s side of the family has been a competitive bowler at least for a short time. I guess you could say bowling is in my blood.

What it your favorite thing about it?

I think my favorite thing about it is the social aspect in the competitive community. You can be best friends with opposing teams and everyone can have a good time. I know people from all over the state now that I’ve competed in several regional and state tournaments during high school seasons and outside.

How would you describe your current season?

My current season is not my best but my average has tended to fall during the high school season. It’s the best high school season we’ve had in my four years of being on the team.

What are you hoping to accomplish before the season ends?

Taking the team to the state championship and winning. We want to be the first Bowling State Champs MHS will get.
