Harli Omli

Stand-out track athlete sophomore Harli Omli has continuously shown how she is not only a great athlete but a great sportsman and team player. She has won the 200 meter and the 400 at every meet this season as well as placing in the top three in relays. Omli has also had a first place finish in the 100 meter.

“I really liked the team, and the coaches,” Omli said. “I liked my track team last year but I like this year’s team more.”

Despite most of the races in track being individual competitions, a good team dynamic is always important for any sport.

“There’s a girls team and a boys team, but we all just connect and get along really well,” Omli said.

The season is a little over halfway done, but there is still time to improve as an athlete and as a team.

“I’m proud of my accomplishments so far, I feel like I could do better, but I’m still proud of what I’ve done,” Omli said. “My goal is to get low 24s and getting the school record and both the 200 and 100.”
