Senior Jack Wilson has been an excellent leader and player on the Manhattan High basketball team and has been nominated as this month’s Athlete of the Month.

In Manhattan’s game vs. Blue Valley North, Wilson put up 16 of the team’s 39 points in his last high school game. Wilson led the team in points and rebounds this year and is a three year letterman. Wilson has also recently been announced to the all Centennial League first team.

“Being a leader on the team to me meant that I was able to help improve everyone around me and build them for the future once I leave.” Wilson said

Wilson has played all of his high school seasons at MHS and has signed with Doane College as he looks to dominate at the collegiate level as he did at the high school level.

“Playing here meant a lot to me and I hope I was able to leave a mark on this program.” Wilson said.
