Junior Max Lansdowne was the Manhattan High boys soccer team’s leading scorer for their historic season. He scored 20 goals and had five assists in 21 games played. Lansdowne scored three of his goals this past week in sub-state and state play. He was also named to the All-Centennial League First team last week, along with four of his teammates.

He was the center of many opposing team’s attention as a versatile scoring forward, and played an invaluable part in the team’s success. With a standout junior season, Lansdowne will look to be a team leader next season and keep playing at an elite level.

“[Next season] is going to be great,” Lansdowne said. “Hopefully we’ll be [back at state] again. I’m excited for it.”
