Story by Ares Hoeting

Senior Elizabeth Thornley is the online editor and chief for The Mentor; she’s been doing this for two years as both a writer and videographer.

“I generally don’t think of myself as a great photographer, but I’m trying to improve,” Thornley said. “I would go to Japan or Brazil for a photo shoot. I know they are very different environments but there is beauty in both.”

With the things that are coming up with sports, Thornley wants to help out all of the newcomers in the media field.

“I hope to help direct a whole bunch of live streams and keep everyone together,” Thornley said.

More into Thornley’s personal life she loves to take photos of things like cats.

“I also enjoy taking photos of my cats and maybe people as well,” Thornley said.
