Aaron Hemby is a senior photo editor for the Manhattan high school newspaper. Aaron started photography his eighth grade year but did not join The Mentor staff until his junior year of high school. Aaron became the print photo editor entering his senior year, pursuing his passion of photography. He loves journalistic photography because he gets to capture other people’s joys and expressions through his work. In his free time Aaron enjoys writing fictional novels. He just finished a project and is now in the editing stage, it took him one year to write his book that is 266 pages long and roughly 55,000 words. Aaron is very involved with his youth group and enjoys doing work with them when he is not in school. He plans to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) to become a youth pastor after he graduates high school.
