Tara Wood, senior, is a staff writer for the Blue M yearbook and The Mentor. She was born in Manhattan, Kansas, but wasn’t always in the Manhattan school system. She was in this district up to fourth grade, but moved to the a private school in Junction City for the rest of elementary and middle school when she started the fifth grade. When she started 10th grade, she came back here. She enjoys playing softball, something she’s loved since she can remember. She now plays a traveling team team, the 18U Thunders. She wants to pursue a medical career sometime in the future, but for now, settles for writing for publications, playing softball and finishing her senior year.
