Julianna Poe

Julianna Poe, Online Editor-in-Chief

Senior Julianna Poe is the Online Editor-in-Chief. Julianna has been a member of staff since she joined 21st Century Journalism her freshman year.

She is hoping to establish herself as a leader this year by talking to people and helping people find their way through Digital Media Project Management.

“So far I am excited to see where this year takes us,” Poe said. “We have a lot of goals and a lot of strengths that are now on staff and I hope that we can have a successful year.”

Poe enjoys the social media aspect of publications, which allows her to communicate with interesting people during interviews. It also allows her to write good stories and grow stronger communication skills.

“I enjoyed the communication skills I've learned through Journalism,” Poe said. “I feel like I’m a much better person and more talkative because of journalism and really thankful for that.”

When she isn’t working on academics, Poe can be found participating in 4-H, playing on the girls golf team and spending time with family.
